Lots are the piece that make up the map. Each lot has a capacity of 100,000 without a building. The lot that a family group starts off on is considered their home lot. If another type of group is created it will initially share the same home lot as the family group that created it. Home lots can be changed at any time.

80% or more dirt with a higher amount of resources than water (or the same amount of resources and water). Adjacent lot gradient increase: n/a.

FIELD

a meadow or plain that has been farmed. Adjacent lot gradient increase: n/a.

FOREST

55% or more resources. Adjacent lot gradient increase: n/a.

JUNGLE

70% or more resources. Adjacent lot gradient increase: 0.67.

LODE

85% or more resources. Adjacent lot gradient increase: 1.67.

MARSH

40% or more water with a higher amount of dirt than resources. Adjacent lot gradient increase: 0.67.

MEADOW

Other combination of dirt, resources and water. Adjacent lot gradient increase: n/a.

OCEAN

85% or more water. Adjacent lot gradient increase: 1.67.

PLAIN

25% or more water with more dirt than resources. Adjacent lot gradient increase: n/a.

QUARRY

A lode that has been mined on. Adjacent lot gradient increase: 1.67.

SEA

70% or more water. Adjacent lot gradient increase: 1.67.

SHOAL

55% or more water. Adjacent lot gradient increase: 0.67.

STEPPE

60% or more dirt with a higher amount of resources than water (or the same amount of resources and water). Adjacent lot gradient increase: n/a.

SWAMP

40% or more water with a higher amount of resources than dirt (or the same amount of resources and dirt). Adjacent lot gradient increase: 0.67.

WASTELAND

Other terrain types with at least 100 waste in lot. Adjacent lot gradient increase: Same as base terrain.

WASTEWATER

Ocean, sea or shoal with at least 100 waste in lot. Adjacent lot gradient increase: Same as base terrain.

    WATERWAY

Any lot with less than 10 total dirt, resources and water combined that has more or equal water to dirt and resources separately. Adjacent lot gradient increase: 0.67.
